Transitional and final provisions
(1) Laws on free entrepreneurship zones which are in force on the date of entry into force of this Law continue to operate in so far as they do not contravene this Law.
(2) Within one month from the date of entry into force of this Law, the Customs Body draws up the regulations of the customs body in the free zone, the mechanism and the manner of technical assurance of its functioning, submits proposals to the Government on the number of staff and financing of the service's activity.
(3) The Government, within 3 months:
- shall bring its normative acts into conformity with this Law;
- shall submit to Parliament proposals for bringing the legislation in force into conformity with this Law;
- shall adopt the necessary regulations for the execution of this Law.
(4) The resident of the free zone, registered before the entry into force of this law, has the right, within 10 years from the entry into force of this law, to operate under the provisions of the specific free zone laws on tax and customs regimes in force at the time of his registration. The resident, within 3 months from the entry into force of this Law, shall notify the Administration of his decision to this effect, otherwise he shall fall under the scope of this Law.
(5) The Law on Free Entrepreneurship Zones No. 1451-XII of 25 May 1993 is repealed.
